Dermarite's DermaGinate/Ag is an alginate wound dressing with antibacterial silver for moderate to highly exudating wounds. For use on infected wounds or wounds suspected of infection. The dressing is highly absorbent, and conforms readily to any wound bed. The silver protects against microbial contamination of the dressing, helping to control odor. Dermarite's DermaGinate/Ag is ideal for for the management of moderate to heavily exudating partial to full thickness wounds, including:
postoperative wounds, trauma wounds, pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, grafts, and donor sites. The dressing dimensions are 4”x5”. The package contains one box of 10 DermaGinate/Ag dressings.
